Software Engineer - Windows Phone
The kind of stuff you’ll be doing...
Your focus will be refining, optimizing, and reinventing the Rdio experience for Windows Phone.
In a given week this role may involve:
Working with designers to improve usability and visual design
Providing code reviews, and guiding development of shared code
Interacting with Support and QA to identify and fix bugs
Implementing new features, such as remote control mode, Facebook sharing, or advanced music discovery
The kind of person we’re looking for...
Intrinsically motivated
Strong knowledge of one of the following: C#, C++, Java, Objective-C
A firm grasp of threading, memory management, UI development, and OO design
3+ years professional software development experience
Must care about quality, from user experience, to pixel perfect design, to testing
Bonus experience...
Open source contributions
Experience developing media software
Experience with Silverlight/XAML/WPF
